PAYROLL OFFICER

We are looking for a Payroll Officer to join our HR department and administer our employee compensation.

Payroll Officer responsibilities include calculating employees’ compensation, updating our internal payroll databases and ensuring timely payments. To be successful in this role, you should have the skills to master the numbers and be able to handle sensitive information. Ultimately, you will help run a smooth and accurate payroll process.
Job Brief
Responsibilities:

Collect daily, weekly and fortnightly timesheets
-
Answer questions about compensation, benefits, taxes and insurance deductions and Salary Sacrifice.

Ensuring all payroll transactions are processed efficiently

Collecting, calculating, and entering data in order to maintain and update payroll information

Compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and non-taxable wages and reporting on this

Process Nasfund and NCSL payment on time

Calculate bonuses and allowances
-
Resolving payroll discrepancies
-
Maintaining payroll operations by following policies and procedures
Requirements:
-
+3 years’ experience in payroll in software- Attaché
-
Proven work experience as a Payroll Officer, (Attaché User)

Strong math skills with an ability to spot numerical errors

Good knowledge of labour legislation
-
Time-management skills
-
Ability to handle confidential information
-
BSc in Accounting, Human Resources or relevant field
