ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES​
  • Overseas Orders – VOR / Air Freight (DHL) / Sea Freight

  • Confirming with suppliers who are emailed to use our DHL account number when orders are ready OR to engage Vanguard Logistics when it is a sea freight order

  • How to navigate the various supplier ordering portals (where relevant) – Isuzu, Nissan, Itochu, UD, Fuso, CNH etc

  • Provided ‘How To’ instructions / screen prints for the supplier ordering portals that is being used frequently – order placement, stock enquiries (availability), prices, etc.

  •  ‘Daily Emergency PO Screen’ if stock is available in other branches

  • Advised where to enter in branch address details if it is to be an air freight (DHL) shipment for a supplier that does not have an ordering portal

  •  maintaining ‘Open PO’s’ (maintaining a list of ‘saved’ but not processed with the supplier PO’s) and how to use side-by-side open screens (Daily Emergency PO) – much easier for when creating purchase orders!

REQUIREMENTS

  • +5 years of experience in similar role

  • Proficient in computer skills

  • Ability to Multi- Task

  • Strong Administrative organizational skills

  • Understanding of Basic accounting Principles

  • Diploma in business Administration
