Primary objective of the job:

Is to test drive vehicles and identify faults as describe, communicate with clients. Carry out diagnostic procedures.

Number of persons managed/supervised and their positions:

NIL

Main Duties and Responsibilities: (maximum of 10 duties)

• Plan & Schedule service repairs

• Service repairs on parts, gearboxes, engines, brakes etc

• Inspect and test vehicle

• Preform preventive maintenance work on vehicles

• Perform test on specific parts and systems

​

 

Requirements

• Certificate of Grade 10 or 12

• Trade certificate in Light Vehicle Mechanic from NATTB

• 5 experience as Light Vehicle Mechanic

• 2 to 3 years’ experience working on different engineers

• Class 3 and 6 License
