Job Title:    Driver/Warehouse Storeman

General Purpose

Purpose of this the Driver/ Warehouse Storeman is to maintain and organize local deliveries to customers up on receipt of Invoice.

​

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Maintain/Organize local deliveries to customers upon receipt of invoice.

• Organize wharf runs picking of inward cargoes from wharf mainly branch transfers and local purchase.

• Organize packing of stock upon receipt of picking slip and invoice

• Monitor unloading containers upon receipt of stock order.

• Arrange stock to correct bin locations upon receipt of new stock.

• Organize loading containers per customer orders and brach transfers.

• Prepare cyclic stock counts as and whenever required.

• Organize wharf runs delivery of outward cargoes mostly branch transfers and local purchases to other ports/provinces.

• Plan dumping of dump bins to designated dumping ground.

• Prepare/Organize disposal of scrape Tyres to designated drop of areas.

• General House Keeping –cleanness of work place.

 

 Requirement

• Class 3/4 driver’s license.

• Previously employed in same field with some experience to deliver /pick up orders to wharfs.

• Age 25yrs- 45yrs physically fit as required to move /lift cargoes manually.
