Job Title:     Service Supervisor

General Purpose

Ensure customer needs are met by working with customers to determine their vehicle issues and problems, determining the repair timeline, and working with technicians to convey the customers' concerns with accurate repair.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Supervise Running of workshop

  • Mentor Technicians and Apprentices

  • Prepare a repair order

  • Organize jobs for Technicians each morning

  • Prepare estimates for service and repairs

  • Schedule service appointments

  • Write customer complains on repair order

  • Checking of the progressive work during the day and update customer

  • Maintain high customer satisfaction standards.

  • Ensure the vehicle is clean and ready for collection.

  • Supervise the running of the workshop

  • Mentor Technicians and Apprentices

  • Hit Company Targets and KPIs

    • Monthly R/O Targets

    • Monthly Budgets

    • Productivity and Efficiency Targets

Prerequisites – (Essential Qualifications /Licenses & Experiences)

  • Minimum of grade 12 education

  • Primary Technical Certificate in Motor Mechanic

  • Holds a Tradesman Certificate.

  • 3+ years’ experience in the same role

 

 

Core Competencies

  • Excellent Product Knowledge

  • Excellent interpersonal 

  • Able to write route cause failure reports

  • A strong understanding of automotive technology and the automotive industry

  • Essential to have Rotating equipment experience and experience of bench fitting to site diagnosis

  • Supervisory experience good leadership, motivation and team building skills

 

 

Working Conditions:

  • Working 8 am – 5 pm weekdays, Monday to Friday

Alternative weekend 8 am – 12md Saturday
