Job Title:     Service Advisor

Reports to:     Service Manager

General Purpose

​

Ensure customer needs by working with customers to determine their vehicle issues and problems, determining the repair timeline, and working with technicians to convey the customers' concerns with accurate repair.

​

​

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

​

  • Greet customers and offer excellent customer service from Booking and release of their vehicles

  • Communicating with customers by e mail or over the phone or in person

  • Advising customers on how best to maintain and service their vehicles.

  • Prepare a repair order

  • Prepare estimates for service and repairs

  • Schedule service appointments

  • Write customer complains on repair order

  • Handle customers complaints

  • Provide accurate cost invoices for labour and parts.

  • Checking of the progressive work during the day and update customer

  • Obtain customers method of payment

  • Review of work that is completed and also note the additional work and advise customer.

  • Maintain high customer satisfaction standards.

  • Ensure the vehicle is clean and ready for collection.

  • Observing all service reception process

Prerequisites – (Essential Qualifications /Licenses & Experiences)

 

  • Minimum of grade 12 education

  • Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent.

​

​

Core Competencies

​

  • Excellent Product Knowledge

  • Excellent interpersonal 

  • Computer literate, competent Microsoft office & outlook user

  • A strong understanding of automotive technology and the automotive industry

  • Intermediate to advance Administrative Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Age range between 25 – 40-year-olds

Working Conditions

​

  • Working 8am – 5pm weekdays, Monday to Friday

  • Alternative weekend 8am – 12md Saturday

​
