General Purpose

Measuring and marking out cutting and bending lines. make components and parts for different products such as machines, engines etc.  Create a whole set of components or work on individual pieces.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Measuring and marking out cutting and bending lines.

• Reading blueprints and schematics, aligning components and using hand tools or machines to complete the assembly process.

• Rresponsible for joining metal using a variety of techniques, often to form new structures.

• Duties may include cutting and welding

• Confirm that all parts are properly fitted, aligned, and screwed in.

• Maintain a production schedule

• Ensure that quality control standards are met

• Test products for their functionality.

 

 

Prerequisites – (Essential Qualifications /Licenses & Experiences)

• Minimum of grade 12 education

• Primary Technical Certificate in Welding & Fabricating

• Proven work experience as a Fabricator or similar role.

• Proficiency in operating heavy machinery.

• Excellent eyesight and colour vision.

• Blueprint reading skills.

• Physical stamina.

• Attention to detail.

 

 

Working Conditions:

• Working 8 am – 5 pm weekdays, Monday to Friday

• Alternative weekend 8 am – 12md Saturday
