Diagnose, service and repair faults on electronically controlled vehicle systems such as electronic fuel injection and ignition, anti-lock braking, cruise control, alarm systems and automatic transmissions. Troubleshoot and diagnose faults and rectify.
Test, replace, recondition and install equipment such as alternators, starter motors and batteries. Train apprenticeship to become tradesman.
Repair or replace faulty ignition, electrical wiring, fuses, lamps and switches and use specialized electrical tools and machines.
Determine malfunction of electrical system by visual inspection and by use of testing devices.
Abide to the Company rules and regulations.
Education and Training

Grade 10 certificate with a relevant trades Certificate in Auto Electrical from a recognized training institution.

5 or more years of experience in a similar role.

Basic automotive maintenance and repair work, driver’s license, replacing clutch and brakes and basic vehicle electronics.
